  • Hear consultation outcomes, and
  • Read our final draft Plan.

Your voice is important to us

Every five years, Jemena, along with most other electricity network providers, is required by the Australian Energy Regulator to review and submit a new customer gas pricing and services plan (the 2021-25 Plan).

As a large energy consumer within our network, your voice is important. We want to hear what matters to you most when it comes to electricity - from the types of experiences, products and services you’d like to see to the prices you’re willing to pay.

Specifically, we are seeking views and input into:

  • Network reliability and the effect on pricing for increased or decreased reliability
  • Tariff structures and how we charge
  • Energy security – what are your concerns?
  • Alternative generation and technologies – like solar and batteries
  • Climate change – are we doing enough?
  • Electric and hydrogen Vehicles – are they part of the solution?
  • Smart grids – are you getting what you want from your network?
  • New or larger connections – is it a positive customer experience?
  • Access to data and solutions that allow customers to benefit from data
  • Demand management solutions that help large customers use electricity efficiently
  • Facilitation of energy trading between business and/or residential customers
  • Digital solutions that make engaging with us on everyday transactions easier

Jemena's 'Brining energy to life' video series features the NEXTDC M2 Melbourne Data Centre in Tullamarine. One of Jemena’s large electricity consumers.
