Have your say on your electricity bill & grid

Like most people, you probably don't think about your electricity supply that often – you only expect the lights to turn on when you flick the switch and your appliances to be powered on.
So you might not be aware of Jemena. We transport electricity to homes and business in these areas of Greater Melbourne:
The Jemena Electricity Network
But we're not the only company responsible in connecting your home with electricity. There are several companies involved, from electricity generation through to sending your electricity bill. As a distribution company, Jemena makes up approximately 34% of a typical household electricity bill:

Our prices are regulated
What we charge for our service is regulated by the Australian Energy Regulator (AER).
Every five years, Jemena, along with most other electricity network providers, is required by the AER to review and submit a new customer electricity pricing and services plan. The next plan is for the years 2021-2025 and will outline our service and pricing for that 5 year period.
Your voice is important to us
Our company name, Jemena, is an Aboriginal word. It means "to hear, listen and think". With recent rises in energy bills and household cost of living pressures, it is vitally important that we involve our customers in this process. It will affect how we invest in your network and your electricity bill. So, understanding your energy requirements drive how we operate the electricity network and deliver services to our customers.
